The incredibly talented 22-year-old First Nations artist Sasha McLeod, known as Sycco, is gearing up to release her debut LP, Zorb, on Friday, 23rd August 2024. To kick things off, her latest single, ‘Touching and Talking‘, has just dropped via Future Classic, and it’s an absolute banger.
Sycco’s unique sound is a delightful mix of psychedelic rock, hyperpop, and high-energy electronic dance music. ‘Touching and Talking’ perfectly captures this blend with its infectious synth-pop groove. Sycco herself says, “‘Touching and Talking’ came to life the day after a party where I met someone special. It felt like love at first sight, and it happened just after I embraced my sexuality and came out to my friends. The song holds a special place in my heart because it marks a significant personal revelation.”
