It’s official: Ani DiFranco is bringing Unprecedented Sh!t: The Tour to the UK and Europe. The feminist icon, singer-songwriter, and all-around powerhouse has just announced a string shows for June 2025, marking her first UK performances in eight years. And she’s kicking things off in style with a headline gig at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall, joined by special guest Anaïs Mitchell.
This tour celebrates DiFranco’s 23rd album, Unprecedented Sh!t, which sits firmly in our “On Repeat” playlist. Known for getting personal and political, Ani’s latest project tackles everything from reproductive rights to climate change, wrapped in a bold sonic experiment crafted with producer BJ Burton (Bon Iver, Low).
Speaking about the tour, DiFranco said:
“What’s the upside of doom, gloom, angst and anguish? A sharply increased sense of motivation to get out there and make some noise. Lookout calm before the storm! We’re coming for you.”
