Exciting news for fans of Liverpool-based rockers CRAWLERS! The band has just announced the release of their debut mixtape, ‘Loud Without Noise,’ on November 4th. The six-track project delves into themes of heartbreak, mental health, and politics through passionate and personal lyrics.
Holly Minto explains the inspiration behind the lead single ‘Hang Me Like Jesus,’ saying it stemmed from feeling like a burden in a past relationship while struggling with their mental health. However, Minto ultimately found healing in writing and recording the track. Listen to it here.
Formed in 2018, CRAWLERS have been honing their live shows and building a devoted following, amassing 650k followers on TikTok and scoring a hit with the 2019 EP track ‘Come Over (Again).’ In addition, the band continues to use their platform for meaningful conversations, from LGBTQ+ representation to safe spaces for marginalized communities.
“It’s really hard to find a safe space – especially for young people, queer people, and other misrepresented or underrepresented groups – and being able to do that with our platform is something we’re looking forward to exploring and breaking boundaries with,” they say.
CRAWLERS will be heading out on a UK tour in the fall, including a date at London’s Scala on November 2nd. So pre-save ‘Loud Without Noise‘ now and catch the rising stars on their journey to stardom.
