Rock royalty Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe have joined forces for a highly anticipated world stadium tour next year.
After selling almost 1.5 million tickets on their co-headlining run in 2022, Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe have announced ‘The World Tour‘ for 2023. So it’s no surprise that fans are clamouring for tickets to see this dynamic duo of rock gods on stage.
“After finally getting back on the road and having a monumental summer tour in the US & Canada this year, we’re beyond thrilled to be bringing this massive stadium tour to major cities all over the world, and kicking off Europe in Sheffield where it all started for us 45 years ago. We’re looking forward to seeing you out there, somewhere soon!” said Joe Elliott of Def Leppard.
“We had an incredible time playing The Stadium Tour in North America this summer and we truly can’t wait to take the show around the globe with The WORLD Tour in 2023. Crüeheads in Latin America and Europe: Get ready! We’re coming for you next and can’t wait to finally see all of you out there again next year!” Mötley Crüe said in a joint statement.
But it’s not just their impressive past tour numbers that make Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe a must-see act. Both bands have remained relevant in today’s music industry, with Mötley Crüe’s recent success in filming and television. In addition, the band’s best-selling biography ‘The Dirt’ was adapted into a hit Netflix film in 2019, bringing the band’s unique story and catalogue of hits to a new generation of fans. And speaking of new music, Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx co-wrote the theme song for the upcoming rock-infused thriller ‘The Retaliators,’ and drummer Tommy Lee makes a cameo appearance in the film.
