It’s been 25 years since The Sickness dropped and changed metal forever. That’s right. Some of you reading this weren’t even born when David Draiman first ooh-wah-ah-ah-ah’d his way into metal history. And now, to celebrate a quarter-century of The Sickness, Disturbed are hitting the road for a massive European and UK tour, playing the album in full alongside a second set of greatest hits. Oh, and they’re bringing Megadeth along for the ride.
A Whole Night of Disturbed Goodness
Kicking off in Copenhagen on September 28th, the 17-date tour will see Disturbed tearing through some of Europe’s biggest arenas before hitting the UK in October. Each night, you’ll get The Sickness played front to back. So, that means Down With The Sickness, Stupify, Voices, and the rest, just as angry as you remember. And if that’s not enough, the band’s treating you to a second set filled with their greatest hits. You’re getting two Disturbed shows in one because why the hell not?
And Megadeth as a special guest? That’s not just an opener; that’s a double dose of metal mayhem. Dave Mustaine and co. will be there to melt faces before Draiman stomps on stage to finish the job.
Tickets and Other Important Bits
Ticket sales go live on Friday, February 28th at 10 am local time via disturbed1.com/tour and LiveNation. And if you’re keen to beat the rush, there’ll be presales happening throughout the week. You know the drill—set those reminders, fight the bots, and get in quick.
New Music, Because They Refuse to Chill
As if the tour wasn’t enough, Disturbed just dropped a new single, I Will Not Break. It’s their first new track since 2022’s Divisive, and it’s all about standing your ground and refusing to let life kick your arse. Classic Disturbed. They teamed up with Divisive’s producer WZRD BLD (who’s worked with Knocked Loose and Ice Nine Kills), so expect it to hit hard.
Oh Yeah, There’s a Sickness Anniversary Edition Too
On March 7th, exactly 25 years after its original release, Disturbed will reissue The Sickness in a fancy anniversary edition. It’ll come in multiple formats, with box sets, vinyl, CDs, and a bunch of extras like B-sides, demos, and previously unreleased tracks. In case you needed another excuse to throw your money at them.
