Last night, Manchester-hailing rapper Meekz announced his highly-anticipated mixtape, ‘Respect The Come Up,’ set for release on Friday, 18th November 2022, via Neighbourhood Recordings.
Following the success of his Top 40 debut mixtape ‘Can’t Stop Won’t Stop’ and GRM Daily freestyle, Meekz is back with ten new tracks depicting his life and journey in music.
Meekz’s unique Mancunian flow and witty punchlines are on full display in the freestyle, garnering praise from fans and fellow rappers alike. The mixtape title track, ‘Respect The Come Up,’ was nominated for Video Of The Year at the GRM Daily Rated Awards.
But it’s not just his skill and talent that have gained Meekz attention – he’s also received recognition from some of the biggest names in UK rap, including a spot on Dave’s ‘In The Fire’ track with Giggs, Fredo, and Ghetts, as well as a performance on the O2 Stage at the 2022 BRIT Awards.
