Following the digital success of Aero the Acro-Bat 1 & 2, Ratalaika Games and LLC Shinyuden are gearing up to re-release its spin-off, Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel, on October 6th, 2024. It’ll be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
A Villain’s Redemption?
You may remember Zero from his first appearance on the Sega Genesis back in 1994, but if that was before your time, let me catch you up to speed.
Zero, the notorious adversary from Aero the Acrobat, flips the script and becomes the hero. When his girlfriend Amy alerts him to an evil lumberjack named Jacques Le Sheets threatening their forest and kidnapping her father, Zero springs into action. Despite objections from his sidekick Edgar, Zero sets out to save the day until Jacques shoots down his plane, forcing Zero to trek home on foot.
