Guess who’s back? Yep, The Calling just dropped their first music video in over two decades, and it’s like they never left. Their new single, ‘Stand Up Now’, is here to remind us all why they dominated the early 2000s—nostalgia meets fresh energy in the best way.
“We are SO excited and proud to release our first music video in over 20 years! Creating this video for our new single ‘Stand Up’ was a labour of love, and we want to thank our fans in Brazil for helping us make it happen!” the band said.
“This is a gift to all our loyal fans worldwide, and it’s JUST the beginning! Many more new singles, music videos, and our full-length NEW ALBUM will be released next year, 2025. The Calling is back, baby!”

The Calling: Then and Now
If you were around in 1999, you’ll remember The Calling absolutely owned the airwaves. Their debut album, Camino Palmero, was packed with bangers like ‘Wherever You Will Go’ (you know you still know all the words) and ‘Adrienne’. It sold over 10 million copies worldwide, went Platinum in more than 50 countries, and gave us seven number-one singles. No biggie.
Now, after 20 years away, they’re stepping back into the spotlight. Alex Band’s unmistakable voice, Daniel Damico’s killer guitar riffs, and Grammy-nominated bassist Dom Liberati are ready to pick up right where they left off. But this time, there are two decades of life, growth, and experience in every lyric and chord.
