If you’re an emo or pop-punk fan, here’s something to brighten up your day: The Get Up Kids are heading out on a UK and European tour in 2025 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Something to Write Home About!
The 25th-anniversary reissue of the album is out now, freshly remastered by Joe LaPorta at Sterling Sound, and includes a second LP of rare and unreleased demos. If you’re a vinyl collector, the physical edition drops on 25th September, featuring a full-colour booklet with handwritten lyrics, photos, and behind-the-scenes goodies.
Tickets go on sale Monday, 16th September, at 10 am BST, with a pre-sale happening on Friday, 13th September. For exclusive access, make sure to sign up for their mailing list.
