Lightsabers at the ready! Season 2 of Young Jedi Adventures is just around the corner, and it’s bringing us some seriously intriguing new mysteries. Premiering on August 14th on Disney+, this season promises to explore the origins of a Pooban Jedi hero, but more importantly, that means MORE NUBS!
A brand-new preview clip dropped on the official Star Wars Twitter account, teasing what’s to come for our favourite younglings. The clip follows the ridiculously cute Nubs (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) and his pals, Kai Brightstar (Jamaal Avery Jr. and Jecobi Swain) and Lys Solay (Juliet Donenfield), as they stumble upon a carving of an ancient Pooba Jedi rescuing a village from a monstrous bat-like creature.
This mysterious Pooban Jedi might just shine a light on an era of Star Wars history that’s still largely uncharted. While Young Jedi Adventures is set 200 years before The Phantom Menace, the carving and lightsaber hint at a much earlier time, potentially during Phase 2 of the High Republic publishing initiative, which takes place 150 years prior.
Season 2 is set to build on this foundation, offering more adventures with Nubs and his friends while investigating the lore of the galaxy.
So, August 14th is the date you’ll join Nubs and the gang on their latest quest. Whether you’re a seasoned Star Wars veteran or a youngling just starting your journey, Young Jedi Adventures Season 2 promises to be a fun voyage through a galaxy far, far away.
