Jason Charles Miller, the southern rock and Americana virtuoso, has just signed with One Opportunity Records and is set to release his latest album, ‘Knives In The Dark‘, on August 16th 2024.
“This is the first album I’ve written where my only goal was to write the best songs I can, and not worry about where they might be categorised,” says Miller. “By not going out of my way to write for a specific genre, I’ve made what is, hands down, the best – and most representative – album of my career.”
Miller’s journey from the frontman of the rock band Godhead to solo artist extraordinaire has been nothing short of epic. His solo career kicked off with the ‘Last To Go Home‘ EP in 2009, and since then, he’s been blending Americana, rock, and country into a sound that’s uniquely his own. This latest album marks his fifth full-length solo venture, adding to an impressive discography that includes multiple EPs, singles, and a slew of high-profile soundtrack contributions for hits like Critical Role, Metal Gear Rising, Cyberpunk 2077, and Legends of the Multiverse.
For those who game as hard as they rock, you might already know Miller from his iconic contributions to the Final Fantasy video game series. He’s a fan favourite, regularly gracing the stage at Final Fantasy Fan Fest events worldwide. This autumn, he’ll be hitting China, Japan, and South Korea for some epic performances alongside orchestras and all-star ensembles.
