London-based band Man/Woman/Chainsaw are back with their latest single, ‘Grow A Tongue In Time.‘ This track is part of their highly anticipated debut EP, Eazy Peazy, set for release on 8th November via Fat Possum Records.
‘Grow A Tongue In Time’ is a departure from their usual offerings, serving up a more contemplative vibe. The band describes the track as a “stream-of-consciousness look at jealousy, desire, and self-pity,” beginning with a stripped-back bassline that gradually builds with layers of droning violin and creaking bowed guitar. It’s a moment of calm in the storm, but don’t get too comfortable—it still packs a punch.
The band is also preparing for a big show at London’s iconic 100 Club on Halloween night. If their recent sold-out gig at The George Tavern is any indication, it’ll be a sold-out event, so set your alarms for 10 am on Friday, 30th August, when tickets go on sale.
Man/Woman/Chainsaw’s Eazy Peazy’ is looking to be one of our must-hear releases of the year. They’re walking a fine line between chaos and control, and we’re here for every second of it.
Give ‘Grow A Tongue In Time‘ a listen—it’s sure to be on repeat.
