British rock heavyweights Massive Wagons are back at it, serving up their latest single, The Good Die Young, and it’s got all the energy you’d expect from these guys, plus a special guest to make it pop even more. Colin Doran of Hundred Reasons lends his vocals to this track, adding a fresh punch to their signature sound. It’s a boisterous, pop-punk-infused banger that’ll get your heart racing.
The single is the latest release from their upcoming album Earth To Grace, due to land on 8th November via Earache Records. And if The Good Die Young is anything to go by, we’re in for a ripper of an album!
Massive Wagons’ frontman, Baz Mills, has a lot to say about growing older – but not giving in to it. In classic Baz style, he reflects on something his dad used to say, “I might be 50 on the outside, son, but I’ll always be 10 upstairs!” It’s the kind of wisdom that only hits you once you start adding a few candles to the cake. Baz’s message is simple: keep pushing, stay hungry, and don’t let your spirit get old, even if the rest of you might be.
Getting to work with Colin Doran was a massive win for the band. “Colin is a legend,” Baz says, “he just gives the track a totally different dimension. Big love, Colin.”
As for Doran, he’s equally chuffed to be part of the project. “Matt O’Grady, the producer, got in touch with me when the album was being recorded and it all sort of snowballed from there.,” he shares. Colin’s not only stoked about the track but also the friendship he’s built with the band. Plus, he got to be in the music video, shot in a stunning location, which he reckons is the cherry on top.

Massive Wagons are also doing their bit to make a difference in the world by working with Andy’s Man Club for their upcoming tour. If you’ve never heard of ’em, they’re a charity that does life-saving and changing work by providing support for men who are suffering with their mental health.
At every stop of the tour, Andy’s Man Club will be setting up stalls in the venue foyers, with their team on hand to chat, share resources, and just be a friendly face in the crowd. They’ll also be hosting on-stage talks and offering an interactive installation where gig-goers can engage with the five key questions that structure each Andy’s Man Club meeting.
Massive Wagons guitarist Adam Thistlethwaite shared his thoughts, saying, “We couldn’t be more onboard with what Andy’s Man Club stand for and their message. Their team are lovely people and it’s a real bonus for us to spread their word along with our music. It can be hard for anyone to admit they are having a difficult time, but focusing on breaking down the social and mental blocks that make it especially difficult for some men to come forward has been sorely needed and is highly commendable. I just hope that our involvement with Andy’s Man Club further spreads this message and encourages more people to take that first step, and speaking from personal experience, it really does help.“
