Bristol-based rock outfit Mother Vulture is back with a vengeance, dropping their latest single ‘Break Me‘ and proving once again that they’re a force to be reckoned with in the UK music scene.
Drawing inspiration from their high-octane live performances, which have left band members battered and bruised, ‘Break Me’ delivers a message of sacrifice and resilience in the pursuit of art. With its thick, crunchy guitars and pulsating piano stabs layered over a driving beat, the track showcases the band’s trademark sound at its finest.
Produced by two-time Grammy award winner Adrian Bushby (known for his work with Foo Fighters, Muse, and The Darkness), ‘Break Me’ is the second of two singles mixed by the acclaimed producer. The band members themselves describe the song as embodying the essence of Mother Vulture, reflecting their relentless determination to keep going, no matter what.
Despite facing setbacks like the theft of their tour van in late 2023, Mother Vulture has demonstrated the strength of their community, rallying support through a successful GoFundMe campaign to recover their losses. This resilience and connection with their audience have been pivotal in their journey, paving the way for sold-out shows and critical acclaim for their debut album, ‘Mother Knows Best.’
As they gear up to hit the road once again, Mother Vulture shows no signs of slowing down. With a string of tour dates lined up across the UK and beyond, including appearances at festivals like Shynefest and Bearstone Festival, fans can expect live performances fueled by blood, sweat and tears.
