On November 14th, NAIRI: Rising Tide is making its grand debut on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, and it’s already available for pre-order with a juicy 25% discount (that’s €10.79, $11.99, or £9.75 depending on where you are).
In this charming adventure, developed by HomeBearStudio and published by Hound Picked Games, you’ll reunite with Nairi as she attempts to save her parents. Set after the events of NAIRI: Tower of Shirin, the story picks up in the corrupt city of Shirin, where an ominous apocalyptic prophecy is looming.
So, what’s new in NAIRI: Rising Tide? Oh, a lot. There’s hand-drawn artwork, new characters, and, of course, the return of some fan favourites. It’s a bigger world with puzzle dungeons that’ll give your brain a decent workout. If you’d rather pass on the hard bits to focus on the narrative, you’re in luck. Exploration is key in Rising Tide, and you’ll need to get creative by using the new Toolbelt to combine items and solve puzzles. The Toolbelt isn’t the only upgrade.
