Nate Bergman is ready to jump into his UK tour with a brand new acoustic track, ‘Deep End,’ featuring none other than The Raconteurs’ Jack Lawrence on bass.
Fresh from a sold-out gig with post-hardcore legends Thursday, Nate is slowing things down with ‘Deep End,’ a reflective piece about taking chances.
“The song is about facing the consequences of diving head-first into any risky situation in life. Whether it’s the gamble of a new relationship, moving to a new city, or pursuing your dreams in any fashion. It’s about the results of things not going as planned.” Nate explains. And who better to back him up on this introspective journey than Jack Lawrence? The track, produced by Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes, Margo Price) and Nate himself, was recorded in a single take, live to tape—no digital tricks here, just pure, raw emotion.
