While the much-anticipated sequel Streets of Rogue 2 has delayed its Steam Early Access release, developer Matt Dabrowski and publisher tinyBuild are treating us to a brand new ‘Island Alpha’ demo, available today. So, while we might be waiting a little longer for the full game, we’ve got plenty of mayhem to enjoy in the meantime!
The sequel to the huge success Streets of Rogue, which sold over a million copies and hit an impressive 96% “Overwhelmingly Positive” on Steam, promises to be even bigger and better. It’s no wonder they’re taking a bit more time to polish the game’s sprawling open world. Dabrowski and tinyBuild are keen to make sure everything’s perfect, from the gameplay loop to the progression system (and yes, even those annoying bugs we all love to hate). There’s no new release date yet, but they’ve said it’ll be confirmed soon.
