Looking to celebrate the best in Black British comedy, Mo Gilligan has announced his new tour, ‘The Black British Takeover‘. Opening at the O2 Apollo in Manchester on November 3rd 2023, the tour will make stops at several major cities across the UK.
Eddie Kadi will take the reins as host, with a stellar lineup of headline acts and up-and-coming artists from the Black British comedy circuit.
Mo Gilligan comments: “I‘m really proud of the Black British comedy circuit. It’s where it all started for me, and it’s full of so much incredible talent. I’m absolutely honoured to be heading out on tour with these phenomenal comics to showcase even more history making line ups.“
A triple BAFTA winner, Gilligan is one of the UK’s most celebrated comics. Recent career highlights include hosting the iconic BRIT Awards and launching his brand new BBC show ‘That’s My Jam‘.
