Multi-talented artist/performer Mallrat, aka Grace Shaw, has delighted fans everywhere with the surprise drop of her collaborative track with The Chainsmokers, titled ‘Wish on an Eyelash Pt. 2‘.
The track is a reworking of Shaw’s viral hit ‘Wish on an Eyelash’, which first became prominent when she shared it online earlier this year. The Chainsmokers remixed the song out of “pure love“.
Shaw was surprised by the organic evolution of the track, having never spoken to The Chainsmokers before, and is excited to share this new interpretation of the song.
She says of the release: “there must be something a bit magic about it, because in the last few months, it has stood out as something that really resonates with people and now has a life of its own.”
