Excitement is building for Free Range Games and North Beach Games‘ upcoming survival crafting game set in J.R.R. Tolkien’s iconic world of Middle-earth. The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria allows players to take control of a company of dwarves as they venture deep into the Mines of Moria, also known as Khazad-dûm or Dwarrowdelf, to reclaim the lost treasure.
During a recent Livestream hosted by Nerd of the Rings, new information and never-before-seen screenshots were revealed, including plans for character customization via the Comprehensive Dwarf Creator and procedurally generated experiences to ensure every adventure is unique.
The game’s story is set in the Fourth Age of Middle-earth, taking players beyond the events of the books. Players must use grit and cunning to survive deadly dangers lurking beneath the mountains.
