Fancy a gut punch? Say no more. Wax Head’s latest single, ‘Rusty Cutter,’ has got you covered. Fresh out of Manchester, this chaotic drummer-fronted punk quartet has unleashed a banger, and it’s ready to melt faces on Sour Grapes Records.
Speaking about the single, the band said, “Rusty Cutter pays homage to our love for garage rock. Despite our different influences, it’s our respect for the genre that ties us together. We wanted to blend noisy, angular, and experimental sounds into the more straightforward structures we love.” Wax Head might be relatively fresh on the scene, but they’re already leaving their mark.
Wax Head has also announced a massive UK/EU tour kicking off this October. They’ll be hitting iconic spots like Left Of The Dial in Rotterdam and Supersonic in Paris, so get your tickets sorted now because these shows are going to be wild.
The band’s hyped about their first European tour, sharing, “We’re stoked to finally be heading out to new cities and playing in front of fresh crowds. It’s a big deal for us, and we’re so grateful to Sour Grapes Records and the PRS Foundation for helping make it happen.”
