Get ready, Australia—Eyedress is finally coming Down Under for his debut headline shows! The Manila-born, LA-based multi-genre sensation is set to take over Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Tuesday, 11 February, before heading to Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Thursday, 13 February.
Presented by Handsome Tours and Laneway Presents, these headline gigs will give fans a chance to experience Eyedress’ sound up close and personal. Known for experimenting with lo-fi, hip-hop, post-punk, and 80s goth influences, Eyedress is creating something new. His viral 2019 hit ‘Jealous’ solidified his reputation as an artist to watch, and with over 16 million monthly listeners on Spotify, it’s clear he’s showing no signs of slowing down.
If you’ve been feeling his mixtape Vampire in Beverly Hills, released earlier this year, there’s more good news: Eyedress is gearing up to drop his new album Occasional Stoner in February 2025. The sunny title track single landed last week, giving us a taste of what’s to come—and it’s got “summer anthem” written all over it.
Eyedress has collaborated with some of the coolest names in music, including Mac DeMarco, Rico Nasty, King Krule, and The Drums, so expect a show packed with tracks that hit every vibe.
Tickets for Laneway Festival are already sold out in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, so these special headline side shows are likely to sell out fast.
Don’t sleep on it—pre-sale starts at 11 am local time on Thursday, 5 December, with general sales kicking off at 11 am on Friday, 6 December.
