Kate Simko & London Electronic Orchestra (LEO) have just released a new single titled ‘Masquerade‘, accompanied by an ethereal music video, and it’s a must-watch.
Directed by Morgan White and choreographed by Hannah Grennell, the video is set in The Beams, in London, with dancers Marianna Tsembenhoi and Francisco Serrano from The Royal Ballet.
Speaking about the single, Kate explains:
> “‘Masquerade’ is a modern-day waltz with an electronic twist. The song is about the masks we wear – from social media to our personas – and letting go, being confident in our genuine selves.“
Hannah Grennell, the choreographer for Masquerade, shared her thoughts on the creative process:
> “I asked the dancers to find that internal struggle one may feel when they feel they’re having to hide or mask themselves from themselves. The intense feeling of fighting to release your true nature and to free yourself, which in turn may free another.“
Watch the video now and let yourself be swept away by Kate Simko & LEO’s latest masterpiece.
