Get ready to yeet yourself into the zorb. Fresh off the release of her shimmering new EP Home Is Where The Zorb Is (Part 1), Naarm-based alt-pop wizard Sycco (aka Sash McLeod) is hitting the road for a massive regional tour that’s giving sparkle, sweat and serotonin.
The tour kicks off on 10 September in Canberra, and she’s rolling through 13 cities across the country, including stops in Fremantle, Castlemaine, Hobart and more. Yes, even you, Frankston.
Part 2 of the EP is dropping on 22 August, but Part 1 is already here and bursting with colour, chaos, and emotional catharsis. Honestly, it slaps harder than your ex’s new situationship crumbling on Instagram.
The Zorb Lives On
Following her J Award-winning debut album Zorb, Sycco’s new project keeps the dream alive—swirling together psych-pop production with danceable dread and sweet sonic dopamine.
“I wasn’t ready to let Zorb go,” Sycco explains. “There is more to be said.”
“The new songs represent all the different feelings in Zorb: regret and yearning (‘all in‘), club-vibes (Monkey Madness remix), happy love (‘Joy on Overdrive‘) and over-thinking (‘In My Head‘).”
Same, babe. Same.
She’s once again teamed up with LA’s Chrome Sparks, so expect synthy daydreams, deep vibes, and breakdowns (the musical kind, not the weeping-in-a-park kind).
Where You Can Catch the Sycco Storm
If you’ve ever caught Sycco live, you already know the vibes. If not? Picture a glittery indie-electronica dance party with emotional whiplash and serotonin-stuffed bangers. The shows are known to turn into full-on crowd-bonding rituals—and honestly, we so need that right now.
