Welcome to Lewthport. Please Seat Yourself
You know that fantasy where you quit your job, move to a coastal town, and open a little café that magically solves all your problems? The Hearth & Harbour is here to hand you that dream… and then drop the shadow of an oncoming war right across the table.
Announced today by Fellow Traveller and Saltstone Studio, this new PC title is a story-driven restaurant management RPG where every menu choice, décor decision, and staff hire ripples outward into the lives of your neighbours. And maybe the fate of the entire harbour city. Easy.
Food as Community, Food as Power
You arrive in Lewthport as an immigrant looking for a fresh start, tasked with restoring the rundown restaurant The Silver Spoon. On paper, it’s just another business to balance, but in practice, it’s a social lifeline for a town that’s staring down instability.
Here’s the twist:
- The ingredients you can source depend on your relationships with locals.
- The dishes you serve shape the kinds of patrons who walk through the door.
- The atmosphere you create feeds directly back into the community.
It’s part narrative adventure, part tactical resource juggling, and it looks like every choice carries the weight of who you are, who you feed, and who you side with.
Bistro or Greasy Spoon? Your Call
Do you want The Silver Spoon to become Lewthport’s trendy bistro with artisanal seaweed cocktails, or the kind of late-night diner that saves drunks from their own bad decisions? That’s on you.
You’ll:
- Rebuild the restaurant with décor and staff hires.
- Hit up the market for produce.
- Balance service through turn-based tactical gameplay (think “plate spinning” but literal).
- Navigate character-driven story arcs that unfold depending on who you serve, and how you serve them.
It’s restaurant sim meets narrative RPG, but with the kind of worldbuilding weight Saltstone Studio already proved they can deliver.

Same Universe, Bigger Stakes
Fans of The Pale Beyond will clock that The Hearth & Harbour is set in the same universe, just a little closer to the heart of civilisation. Thematically, it trades the frostbitten desperation of arctic survival for the warmth (and occasional chaos) of community survival. But the DNA is the same: your personal choices matter, and they’ll haunt you long after the closing shift.
TL;DR
- The Hearth & Harbour announced today by Fellow Traveller & Saltstone Studio (The Pale Beyond)
- Narrative-driven restaurant management RPG set in the harbour city of Lewthport
- Restore The Silver Spoon while navigating war, community ties, and tactical service gameplay
- Every ingredient, dish, and design choice ripples through the story
- Wishlist it now on Steam
Stay unruly.
