Big Love, the rising six-piece from Dublin, is back with their latest track, Never Enough, and it’s a certified indie-pop banger. Fresh off the success of their last single, Big Love is gearing up for bigger things, and Never Enough feels like the song that’s going to take them there.
Lead vocalist Cian Ó’Maonlaí says: “The song is about being saved. When a light comes into life to take you from the dark—something so beautiful, so true—that you feel unworthy. Love is medicine, and in writing this song, I wanted to express how fortunate I feel to be in receipt of the light that shone in for me.”
This track, recorded with Matt Glasbey (who’s worked with names like Bloc Party), delivers a burst of anthemic vocals, infectious indie-pop hooks, and high-energy drumming that’ll make you want to get up and move. The post-rock touches give it that ruminative edge that’s perfect for fans of thoughtful yet energetic tunes.
Big Love’s already leaving their mark in the Irish music scene, with sold-out headline shows at iconic venues like The Workman’s Club and The Grand Social. And now, they’re getting ready for their first headline UK gig at Old Blue Last in London this October.
