Daimon Blades Launches on PC: Streumon Returns to Its Brutal, Indie Roots

The cult devs behind E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy are back with blood, blades, and a vengeance.

Hell hath new hardware requirements

After years lost in the corporate machine, Streumon Studio, the French developers behind the cult classic E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy, have re-forged their own path. The result? Daimon Blades, a first-person slasher that’s part demonic blood ritual, part co-op carnage simulator.

Now available in Steam Early Access for €34.99 (with a 10% launch discount), Daimon Blades is playable solo or in squads of up to four. It’s brutal, fast, and unashamedly metal. A game where your sword doesn’t just swing, it screams.

Steel meets sin

In Daimon Blades, you’re a warrior cleaving through the Daimon Realms, nightmare dimensions crawling with grotesque monsters and corrupted horrors. The gameplay’s all about weighty melee combat, where every hit lands with a stomach-punch crunch.

There’s a rhythm to it: parry, dodge, decapitate. Loot unholy weapons infused with demonic power — hammers, swords, shields — and upgrade them with dark abilities that grow stronger (and more corrupted) over time.

You can brave the chaos solo or form a four-player co-op party, because nothing bonds friends like getting ripped apart by hellspawn in sync.

What you get in Early Access

Players jumping in now score the Secreta Secretorum bundle. A little thank-you for early believers. It includes:

  • Exclusive armour and weapon skins inspired by E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy (only available during Early Access).
  • digital artbook (PDF).
  • The original soundtrack in MP3 and lossless formats.

Once version 1.0 launches, the artbook and OST will be sold separately, but the skins will remain Early Access exclusives. So if you want bragging rights, get in now.

Why this matters

Daimon Blades isn’t just another grimdark slasher. It’s Streumon reclaiming itself, back to indie independence after years under publisher deals and big IP contracts (Space Hulk: DeathwingNecromunda: Hired Gun).

Expect the game to mutate and evolve throughout Early Access, with new monsters, weapons, and “otherworldly surprises” promised along the way.

TL;DR

  • Daimon Blades is out now in Steam Early Access for €34.99 (10% launch discount).
  • Brutal first-person co-op slasher for 1–4 players. Solo or online.
  • Features eight monsters, deep weapon customisation, PvE co-op, and that signature Streumon flair for chaos.
  • Early Access players get the Secreta Secretorum bundle (exclusive skins, artbook, OST).
  • Streumon returns to its indie roots after reacquiring full studio ownership.

It’s slick, savage, and gloriously self-indulgent. The kind of game that reminds you why E.Y.E built a cult following in the first place. Streumon’s back where it belongs: in the dark, covered in blood, and laughing about it.

Stay unruly.
