After a 15-year-long hiatus, British alt-rock veterans Hundred Reasons are back with new music and a UK tour. Their lead single and title track, ‘Glorious Sunset,’ which deals with the pain and celebration of loss, showcases their signature passionate vocals and raw lyricism.
Their upcoming album, ‘Glorious Sunset,’ was written during the pandemic and promised to showcase a new perspective on the discomfort and misplacement they experienced during the lockdown.
Lead singer Colin Doran says of writing the track, “I came away from that session not just feeling closer to the other guys, having not seen them for some time, but thinking the music was f****** awesome. We all looked at each other and knew it was a go.”
Hundred Reasons have always been known for its lyrics and heavy instrumentals, and fans can expect more of that emotional punch with their return. This is the music they needed to make, and we can’t wait to hear it.
You can pre-order the album Glorious Sunset on CD and white 12″ vinyl, as well as T-shirts and signed lenticular prints.
Along with special guests Hell Is For Heroes and My Vitriol, Hundred Reasons will hit the road for a UK tour in 2023. Kicking off at Leeds’ O2 Academy on February 23rd, they’ll also be making stops at Glasgow’s Barrowland, Manchester’s Academy, Bristol’s O2 Academy, Birmingham’s O2 Institute, and London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
