La Luz is back with something out of this world—News of the Universe, their latest album dropping on Sub Pop. Led by the incomparable Shana Cleveland, this record is a cosmic journey infused with mesmerising melodies and sci-fi charm that captivates from start to finish.
Accompanying the album is the music video for ‘Always In Love,’ a single that Shana considers to be the heart of the album. Inspired by the Japanese camp horror film House, with its surreal imagery and trippy atmosphere, the video captures the essence of the song, immersing viewers in a world of love and fear.
‘News of the Universe‘ is a testament to resilience, born from a personal crisis and infused with unconditional love. La Luz hits the road soon, bringing their ethereal vibes, swaggering riffs and angelic vocals to audiences worldwide.
