The British trio PVA released their newest single and accompanying video, ‘Kim,’ off their debut album BLUSH. The track channels a dark basement venue atmosphere with freeform drums and driving, low-end synth bass. Frontwoman Ella Harris also delivers self-reflective lyrics about love and identity.
The video, directed by MILTON, captures the claustrophobia and anxiety of the song as the band performs in a derelict building, freezing and glitching in place.
Before BLUSH’s release, PVA shared three other singles – ‘Hero Man,’ ‘Bad Dad,’ and ‘Bunker‘ – which have earned significant praise from the press and radio, with ‘Hero Man’ being added to the BBC Radio 6 Music playlist.
The band has also earned a nomination for ‘Best Live Performer‘ at this year’s AIM Awards and is currently on their biggest UK and EU headline tour, including a stop at London’s Village Underground. PVA continues to impress with their mesmerizing live performances and compelling music.
