This new release comes ahead of her upcoming album, Evergreen, out on 25th October via Loma Vista Recordings. After giving us acoustic gems like Lost and M, Driver shows a more rock-driven side of the album.
Stripping Back to the Essentials
Evergreen is Soccer Mommy going back to basics. Recorded at Maze Studios in Atlanta with producer Ben H. Allen III, the album shifts away from the more polished production of her previous work. Allison wanted a raw, honest feel, focusing on acoustic guitars, strings, and flutes without going overboard. The result? A stripped-back yet cinematic sound is driven by her powerful songwriting.
