Looking to explore the world of his third album, ‘Palaces’, Australian musician Flume has teamed up with artist Jonathan Zawada for a new gallery exhibition and merch pop-up called Bred 4 Luck.
This unique collaboration brings together Flume’s music and Zawada’s vibrant and dynamic art, creating an immersive and magical experience for fans. During the making of ‘Palaces’, the local wildlife in Australia’s Northern Rivers region, where he and Flume reside, inspired Zawada.
The Bred 4 Luck pop-up exhibition will feature a collection of artworks and objects from the ‘Palaces’ universe, including the signature technicolour motorbike from Flume’s ‘Say Nothing’ music video, directed by Michael Hili. There will also be limited edition collaborative prints and other exclusive merch items available at the pop-up, along with a coffee table book produced by Australia’s leading design house, Semi Permanent.
Zawada is respected for his ingenuity and variety within the art and design industry, drawing on his early web design and coding roots. His work is characterized by bold lines, vivid colours, and a blend of artificial and natural elements, creating stunning visual experiences that transport the viewer into another world.
The Bred 4 Luck pop-up hits Sydney and Melbourne as Flume embarks on his national Palaces tour, kicking off in Perth last week.
