The Plucky Squire is a magical romp that follows Jot, a brave storybook hero, and his quirky crew of pals as they step out of the comfort of their 2D pages and into a whole new 3D world. The plot kicks off when Humgrump, an envious wizard, realises he’s destined to be the loser in this tale. Not content with his villainous fate, Humgrump boots Jot out of the book, setting the stage for a grand adventure to rewrite their story.
But don’t worry – Jot’s not on his own. He has friends by his side, including a DJ wizard who knows how to drop a beat as well as a spell. Together, they’re out to save their story and show Humgrump that being the bad guy isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
The feature I’m most excited to explore in The Plucky Squire is the ability to hop between 2D and 3D worlds. You’ll be solving puzzles, boxing with badgers, and even strapping on a jetpack for some high-flying fun, making you the hero of this living storybook. It’s a game that’s as much about creativity as it is about action.
