Urban Jungle Gets a Wholesome Queer Wedding DLC

A Cozy Sim About Houseplants Just Got Gayer

The beloved cozy sim is expanding with a brand new chapter set in Bangkok, and it’s all about love, plants, and the kind of domestic tenderness that feels like a warm cup of tea.

Urban Jungle already has a bit of a cult following among the cozy-gaming girlies. It launched, everyone got obsessed, and then the internet yelled for more. Kylyk Games heard the yelling and replied with Brother’s Wedding Story, a brand new DLC arriving on Steam today, 19 November.

The vibe this time is love. Proper love. The sweaty palms, heart-thudding, planning-the-perfect-night kind. We’re joining Nurgun as he prepares to propose to his boyfriend, Rachata, who just happens to be the brother of Pharita from the original game. It’s giving romance. It’s giving found family. It’s giving lush Thai greenery and a queer proposal storyline in a genre that usually tops out at “pet the cat” and “rotate the fern.”

Bangkok, Bouquets and Big Feelings

Brother’s Wedding Story drops us into a vibrant Thai home, full of colour and a million tiny design details that feel lived in. The goal is simple on paper, but devastatingly cute in practice. You’re building a warm, personal space that reflects a relationship. Every pot, plant, candle and record tells a story.

And yes. Eventually, the ring comes out. I am already emotional.

The DLC leans into everything people loved about Urban Jungle. Quiet puzzles, gentle storytelling, and that meditative feeling of reorganising a room until something inside you feels a little less tangled.

What You’ll Be Doing Besides Crying Softly

  • A brand new storyline focusing on Nurgun’s proposal to Rachata
  • A multi-floor Thai home filled with culture, colour and personality
  • New objects to place like flowers, candles, groceries and the all-important ring
  • A soothing soundtrack of soft, romantic music

Cozy games can be cute, but this one is actively gay and meaningful. It feels like the devs are reaching through the screen and handing you a small potted plant labelled “joy”.

The Price Is So Low That It Feels Like Cheeky Behaviour

Urban Jungle: Brother’s Wedding Story launches at €2.49, with a 20% discount at launch, bringing it to €1.99. That is less than a coffee. That is “I blinked and it was already in my cart” territory. Oops. Sorry, not sorry.

A Quick Shoutout to the People Making the Magic

Urban Jungle is the debut PC title from Kylyk Games, a small Thai studio made up of three creators with a background in mobile games who have now carved out a space in the cozy genre. They teamed up with Assemble Entertainment, the German indie publisher behind Sticky Business, Roadwarden and Decktamer.

Between them, they have crafted something gently queer, culturally rich and quietly emotional. It feels like the opposite of the loud, shiny, over-processed games that dominate the charts. This is a little story about love and comfort in a tiny home, and that is why it works.
