Publisher The Arcade Crew (Drop Duchy, Abyssus) and developer Tako Boy Studios have confirmed that their RPG-deckbuilder Cross Blitz will hit full release on November 24, 2025, for €22.99 on Steam.
After two years of smooth sailing through Early Access, this swashbuckling blend of card-slinging strategy and story-driven adventure is finally ready to drop anchor, and it’s looking stacked.
A heartfelt adventure with a mean streak
At its core, Cross Blitz is what happens when a tactical deckbuilder and a Saturday-morning cartoon have a baby with serious ambitions. It mixes heroic storytelling, turn-based combat, and pirate-themed chaos into a single, gloriously over-the-top package.
The game’s Fables story mode follows five playable heroes on wildly different journeys. There’s Seto, the pint-sized martial artist searching for his missing master, and Quill, a thief-with-a-heart-of-gold pulling off risky heists to keep his family afloat and stick it to the powerful. A mysterious new crewmate will be joining the mix soon, too, so expect the party to get rowdier.
Over 60 hours of narrative-driven adventure are packed in, spanning vivid locales, weird characters, and the occasional emotional gut-punch (because apparently pirates have feelings now).
Build your deck, outsmart your foes, and maybe loot a bit on the side
In Cross Blitz, you’ll juggle 500+ cards, five factions, and a mountain of relics and abilities to craft your perfect deck.
Then there’s Tusk Tales, the game’s roguelite mode, where you chart unpredictable courses through ever-changing maps, face off against twelve towering bosses, and recruit up to 20 mercenaries to your cause. Every run is different, every card choice matters, and every failure hurts just enough to make you go again.
Why we’re already obsessed
Cross Blitz is bright, weird, and endlessly replayable. The writing’s sharp, the world is packed with secrets, and honestly, it’s just refreshing to see a game that doesn’t take itself too seriously while still being seriously good.
