Frost Giant Studios has just opened the gates to their much-anticipated real-time strategy game, and you’ve got a two-week head start before the free-to-play launch on August 13th. Built by the legends behind StarCraft II and Warcraft III, Stormgate is the perfect mix of nostalgia and innovation. Set in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi and fantasy future, this game has you building armies and battling it out in style. You can choose between three distinct factions: the steadfast Human Vanguard, the demonic Infernal Host, or the techno-angelic Celestial Armada. Each brings its own unique flair to the battlefield, so find your match and get ready to conquer!
While Stormgate brings back the classic RTS vibes, it’s not stuck in the past. Enter ‘BuddyBot,’ your new best mate who’s here to help manage your economy and base-building. Think of it as having training wheels that you can ditch whenever you’re ready. Plus, automated control groups and a quick macro panel mean you can enjoy the game without needing the lightning-fast reflexes of a pro.
Choose Your Adventure
Stormgate offers four modes:
Campaign: Dive into a story that’s always evolving, starting with three free missions. More missions are available for purchase.
Competitive: Face off in ranked 1v1 battles, with a Hero-driven 3v3 mode coming soon.
Cooperative: Team up in a 3-player co-op against AI opponents on maps with unique objectives.
Custom Games: Challenge others to 1v1, 2v2, or try the MOBA-like Turf War mode. (Editor coming soon during Early Access.)

Early Access Pack (AU$24.99): Includes Amara, a Vanguard hero; Chapter 1 of the Vanguard campaign (three replayable missions); and the Gold Vanguard Army Accent cosmetic upgrade.
Deluxe Early Access Pack (AU$39.99): Everything in the Early Access Pack plus Maloc, the Infernal Hero; Auralanna, the Celestial Hero; and a Chicken Supporter Pet.

Free to Play
From August 13th, Stormgate will be free to play. Enjoy unlimited access to all game modes, including three free prologue campaign missions, 1v1 ranked matches, 3-player co-op vs. AI, and custom games. All Heroes will be free to use up to level 5, with Blockade, a Vanguard Hero, being completely free to max level. To keep the lights on, players can purchase additional story chapters, unlock more progression for Heroes, or adopt a cute in-game pet like the Supporter Jerboa. There is no pay-to-win nonsense here!
