We Came As Romans aren’t done with 2025’s All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed just yet. The Michigan metalcore band are expanding it into ALL IS BEAUTIFUL… BECAUSE WE’RE DOOMED: CIRCULARITY, out 6 November via SharpTone Records, and the first taste is brand new single “BORN FROM NOTHING”.
The original album dealt with the cycle of life, death and rebirth. CIRCULARITY goes into the space in between: four new songs follow the self out of physical life, through the afterlife and towards rebirth.
Stuck in a Loop
“BORN FROM NOTHING” is about being trapped in the same cycles, and the band’s explanation of it is going to land hard for a lot of us:
Constantly moving isn’t the same as moving forward.
We Came As Romans
They describe the song as the moment you stop circling who you used to be and ask for the chance to begin again, and admit that sometimes it’s easier to stay in motion than to be still long enough to face your past. If you’ve ever kept busy specifically so you didn’t have to feel something, this one is for you.
A Heavy Guest List
Alongside the new songs, six tracks from the original album have been rebuilt as collaborations. The band describe the features as their circle, the people and influences that were always part of the story and are now showing up in the tracklist.

Side Quest What’s Perth Got to Do With This Album?
One of those collaborators is a local: Make Them Suffer formed in Perth, and have become one of Australia’s biggest metalcore exports. The original We Came As Romans album this expands on came out in 2025.

Side Quest Is Metal Actually Good for You?
A 2015 University of Queensland study found that when fans of extreme music listened to it while angry, they didn’t get more aggressive. It helped them process the anger, and they came out feeling calmer and more inspired. So, turn it up.
- Soft Crushing
- Hopeless Hopeful
