- 3 Perth headline shows
- 9 Feb Fontaines D.C. at RAC Arena
- 1st Tiffany Day show in Australia
- 0 Laneway dates in Perth
Laneway has announced its 2027 lineup, and as we already knew, the festival is skipping Perth. It lands in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne in February, then wraps up in Auckland. Before anyone throws their bucket hat in the Swan, though, three acts from the bill have booked Perth headline shows of their own.
The Perth Shows
Fontaines D.C. are the big one. The Irish post-punk band play RAC Arena on Tuesday 9 February, and their Perth and Adelaide shows are the only Australian dates they’re playing outside the festival. They’ve also got a new album, Dopamine Chamber, on the way.

Jane Remover plays The Rechabite the next night, Wednesday, 10 February, bringing their Live Exbibit Tour. Jane is one of the defining names in digicore, so expect a room full of people who know every glitch by heart.
Side Quest What Is Digicore?
Digicore grew out of young artists meeting and making music together on Discord and SoundCloud around 2019 and 2020, mashing glitchy hyperpop together with emo and rap. Jane Remover, who released their early music as dltzk, is one of the scene’s best-known names.
Tiffany Day follows at The Rechabite on Tuesday 16 February, and it’s her first-ever Australian show. Her album HALO debuted at number one on Apple Music’s electronic chart, and it’s the kind of glitchy, overwhelmed-in-a-good-way hyperpop that makes a lot of sense in a room that size.

Tour dates
| Date | Act | City | Venue |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tuesday 9 February 2027 | Fontaines D.C. | Perth | RAC Arena |
| Wednesday 10 February 2027 | Jane Remover | Perth | The Rechabite |
| Tuesday 16 February 2027 | Tiffany Day | Perth | The Rechabite |
Adelaide gets Fontaines D.C. at AEC Arena on Wednesday, 17 February, and Jane Remover at The Gov on Thursday, 18 February.
The Festival Lineup

The festival runs from Friday, 12 February, in Sydney to Sunday, 21 February, in Auckland. Hayley Williams brings an extended solo headline set, billed as The Hayley Williams Show, and since her Sydney and Melbourne theatre shows sold out almost immediately, Laneway is the only way left to see her on this trip. I’m honestly gutted she isn’t coming to Perth.
It stings a little more because, for a moment, it looked like she might. In September, a tour poster that briefly appeared on LinkedIn showed Fontaines D.C. at RAC Arena with Hayley Williams as support, Rolling Stone reported. The real announcement has Fontaines in Perth on a different night, and no Hayley.
The pop end of the bill is stacked, with Slayyyter, Adéla, Kim Petras, MUNA, Rachel Chinouriri and Australia’s own Ninajirachi, plus Danny L Harle and Daine for anyone who likes their pop a bit more experimental. Rico Nasty makes her Laneway debut, and Brooklyn shoegaze band DIIV are back after more than a decade away.
Also on the lineup are Automatic, Balu Brigada, Horsegiirl, Rommulas, Violet Grohl, Irish newcomers Bleech 9:3, Florence Road and Gurriers, and local acts Ecca Vandal, Public Figures, Swapmeet and Trials, with 1TBSP and DJ_Dave playing between sets.
Laneway hasn’t shared accessibility information for 2027 yet. We’ll update this if more info becomes available.
