Tom Grennan Swings Back with ‘Shadowboxing’ and a Massive 2025 Arena Tour

Tom Grennan by Ed Cooke

Tom Grennan is back with his new single ‘Shadowboxing‘, and it’s packing a serious punch. Not stopping there, he’s also announced his fourth studio album, Everywhere I Went Led Me To Where I Didn’t Want To Be, set to drop on August 15, 2025. And because he clearly doesn’t do things by halves, he’s also gearing up for his biggest tour yet. An 11-date arena run across the UK and Ireland in September.

The Fight of His Life (And His Sound)

‘Shadowboxing’ is an anthem about Grennan’s ongoing battle with himself. “It represents what the whole album is about,” he says. “It’s about my fight with a side of me I have a lot of trouble with. It’s still a daily battle. But I’ve learned how to fight all these demons and I’m mentally and physically prepared now. I’m in athlete mode.”

Pre-order Grennan’s upcoming album here.

And he’s not just changing up his mindset. He’s shaking up his sound, too. Teaming up with hitmaker Justin Tranter (the genius behind tracks for Britney Spears, Dua Lipa, and Fall Out Boy), Grennan is leaning into his love for George Michael, Prince, and Freddie Mercury. “So much of the new music is uplifting—it makes you dance, makes you sing,” he teases. ‘Shadowboxing’ follows the slick, upbeat ‘Higher,’ which dropped last September.

From Bedford to the Big Leagues

Tom Grennan’s been on a rocket ride to superstardom. With two No.1 albums, multiple Brit and Ivor Novello nominations, an MTV Award for Best UK Act, and a back catalogue stacked with bangers, he’s cemented himself as one of the UK’s biggest names. He even pulled a crowd of 25,000 for his massive headline show at Gunnersbury Park last August.

And now? He’s taking it up another level.

The GRENNAN ’25 tour kicks off on September 3 in Bournemouth before hitting major arenas across the UK and Ireland, including London’s O2 Arena on September 6 and wrapping up in Manchester on September 19.
