Billie Eilish is back, and this time, she’s not just hitting us with her incredible music—she’s hitting us with a dose of environmental consciousness. With her latest tour, ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft,’ Billie uses her platform to pioneer environmental restructuring within the music industry, and we are so here for it.
Fresh off the announcement of her third studio album of the same name, set to drop on May 17th (pre-order/add/save here), Billie is ready to hit the road and enchant audiences across Australia, North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. But this tour is about more than just entertaining fans—it’s about inspiring change.
Partnering with environmental nonprofit REVERB, Billie is on a mission to reduce the ecological footprint of her tour. Eilish is leading the charge for a greener future, from eco-villages at every show where fans can learn about sustainability efforts to encouraging attendees to thrift clothes, carpool, and use public transportation to and from venues. The team plans to switch up the concession offerings by promoting and encouraging plant-based food options. By choosing plant-based snacks and meals, concertgoers can enjoy cruelty-free delicious food, support sustainable alternatives, and reduce their carbon footprint. Additionally, attendees are encouraged to bring an EMPTY reusable water bottle or donate a custom RockNRefill Nalgene bottle to fill up at each venue’s free water refill stations. Beautiful.
But it’s not just about what happens at the shows – it’s about giving back. With Changemaker Tickets available for the Australian dates, Billie is raising funds to support organisations (OzHarvest and Support+Feed) tackling food insecurity and the climate crisis.
Tickets for ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour’ go on sale May 3rd. Pre-sale options are available for American Express Card Members and Vodafone customers starting May 1st and May 2nd.
So prepare to ascend with Billie Eilish and join the movement to do better by our earth and each other. Because when music meets environmental action, we all win.
